ALBANIAN CERTIFICATION BODY FOR THE AGRO AND FOOD SECTOR

announces its vacancy for the position of:

 MANAGER (m/f)

 The Certification Body (CB), to be located in Tirana (Albania), will be established as a private and independent company under Albanian Law. The majority of the shareholders will be Albanian. The CB will start its activities as soon as possible and will be qualified and accredited to issue certificates such as ISO 9001, HACCP, Organic certification, EurepGap, etc.

Initially the CB will be sponsored and receive technical assistance through the Dutch PSO program. The manager will receive adequate training in order to cover any lack in specific knowledge and or experience required for the execution of his/her duties. 

The main responsibilities of the manager will be:

n      Daily functioning of the CB and its office.

n      Active acquisition among potential clients.

n      Promotion of the CB among potential clients and stakeholders.

n      Maintain contacts with all stakeholders in the Agro and Food sector.

n      Establish a network with the private sector, Institutes, Ministries and Donor Agencies.

n      Occasionally perform audits.

n      Development of procedures for the auditing activities.

n      Development of locally inspired quality systems.

n      Preparation of the various quality manuals and procedures for auditing and accreditation.

 The CV requirements are formulated as follows:

n      Albanian nationality with some international working experience.

n      University degree in Economy, Agriculture, Biochemical, Veterinary, Business Administration or related.

n      Working experience within the Agro and Food Sector for minimal 3 years

n      Practical experience with Quality systems and or certification issues.

n      Fluency of the English language and preferably working knowledge of one more foreign language.

n      Domination of PC skills (Office, Windows, Internet, etc.)

n      Driving licence and available personal car 

The candidates should be of unspoken behaviour in view of the confidentiality of the activities carried out by the CB.

De functie

U bent in deze functie verantwoordelijk voor het acquireren en uitvoeren van opdrachten bij private opdrachtgevers op het gebied van voedselveiligheid, kwaliteitssystemen (o.a. ISO 9001, BRC, IFS, HACCP) en management advies. U bent actief bezig met het uitbouwen van de klantenkring. Het analyseren van de markt en mogelijkheden is een belangrijk onderdeel van de functie. Gedegen praktische kennis van de food- en agrimarkt en een scherp commercieel inzicht moeten leiden tot nieuwe adviesopdrachten. Gezien de ontwikkelingen op gebied van voedselveiligheid en kwaliteitsystemen in Oost-Europa en Afrika bent u bereid om korte missies uit te voeren. U werkt hierbij samen in een multidisciplinair en professioneel team.

Functie-eisen

• Minimaal 5 jaar advieservaring op het gebied van kwaliteit management systemen (ISO, HACCP, BRC, IFS en EUREPGAP)
• Commerciële drive
• Ondernemerschap
• Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden
• Netwerk binnen de agri- en foodmarkt, bij voorkeur in de AGF sector
• Resultaatgericht
• Afgeronde HBO- of universitaire opleiding, bijvoorbeeld tuinbouw of bedrijfskunde
• Teamspeler en in staat mensen te motiveren en stimuleren
• Bereidheid tot korte missies (ca. 8 weken per jaar) naar het buitenland
