As a senior consultant, Mark is specialized in the international project management of multidisciplinary projects and expert teams within the agro and food sector. Mark has over 15 years of experience with project acquisition, project implementation, value chain management training and market development (B2B) within RVO, Nuffic, IFC-World Bank and the private sector (public-private partnerships) and projects in Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Turkey and Eastern Africa. In the Netherlands, Mark is working as a senior consultant in food waste reduction projects for food services and catering and retail chains.
Mark is a trainer on value chain management and trained more than 200 individuals working – at all levels – in governmental and educational institutions as well as companies in Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique and Suriname.
