New report study Zimbabwean fruit and vegetable sector
In 2019, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO ) commissioned Q-Point to conduct a study on the Zimbabwean fruit and vegetable sector. This scoping study provides an overview of the current state of the sector.

Q-Point has conducted a tailor-made training programme (TMT) in Zimbabwe on GLOBALG.A.P. implementation in Zimbabwe last year, designed for the farmers’ organisation Sisonke Ag-Fresh (SAF) and part of the Orange Knowledge Programme, funded by the Netherlands’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs and managed by Nuffic.

During a seminar in the Philippines where my students performed the task I normally perform, I (Victor Volkers) experienced one of the most happy moments as an internationally operating consultant. With enormous enthusiasm and creativity the students organised the seminar for their colleagues in the Philippine feed industry.
Graduation Vedaste Ndungutse project NICHE-RWA-185
We are proud to announce that Vedaste Ndungutse, a beneficiary of one of our Nuffic projects in Rwanda, has successfully graduated from Egerton University as a Doctor in Philosophy in Food Science. Vedaste was awarded the chancellors excellence award for his thesis titled: Psycho-chemical-qualities of selected potato [Solanum tuberosum L.] cultivars and their suitability for products diversification in Rwanda.
Training food safety for owners fishing boats Suriname
Over the past year, Q-Point has provided support to the small-scale fisheries sector in Suriname (project name OKP-TMT.18/00015) on the topics of value chain management, product development and value addition, through the Orange Knowledge Programme (funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and implemented by Nuffic).
