Together with the University of Rwanda Q-Point started a project for the development of a sustainable potato chain in Rwanda in 2014. Visiting the Dutch potato chain was an opportunity not to be missed. Therefore in July 2017, Q-Point’s consultants took six members of the university to i.a. potato breeding company Meijer, producer of deep fried potato products Lamb Weston Meijer and farmer Straver. HAS Den Bosch, Wageningen Potato Centre in Lelystad (WUR ) and NAK Services were also visited. The mission was considered to be successful.
