Project description
In November 2012, Q-Point started a four-year Nuffic project in Mozambique “Enhance ISPM’s Institutional Capacity to provide quality education in Agriculture” with ISPM- Higher Polytechnic Institute of Manica. This project will play a role in solving several shortcomings, whilst preparing ISPM to respond to actual and future challenges. Expected outputs are the establishment of a reference center to improve practical skills of lecturers and researchers and to offer integrated technical assistance to farmers and community, with emphasis on women. ISPM will also start two new courses at bachelor and master level; one in biotechnology and one in agro processing/food technology, fully responding to market needs and with a gender perspective.
