Mozambique
Project description
In November 2012, Q-Point started a four-year Nuffic project in Mozambique “Improving Food Security and Economic Growth in Mozambique through Higher Polytechnic Education Provision” with the Instituto Superior Politécnico de Gaza (ISPG). This project aims at strengthening the capacity of ISPG to provide better agricultural education, research and technical assistance services especially in the areas of agro processing and agriculture and hydraulics and water supply, meeting the needs of the market with a gender perspective. By doing so the institute expects ISPG to be better able to contribute to food security and economic growth in Mozambique through the provision of qualified professionals for the market.
Project partners are CBE International, IPC Groene Ruimte, Aquator Groene Ruimte BV, University of the Free State (South Africa) and Egerton University (Kenya).
