Quality and food safety systems, external auditor and corporate social responsibility

Alma has more than 25 years of experience in the floriculture, horticulture and vegetable sector. She has worked for the flower auction in Aalsmeer (now FloraHolland) in the field of product quality and shelf life of flowers for ten years. As a senior consultant at Q-Point, she is responsible for implementing quality management systems such as ISO 9001, Florimark Trade and MPS-Social Qualified. She has expertise in BRC, IFS and CDG and in the seed sector with Naktuinbouw Elite, NAL and GSPP (Good Seed and Plant Practices).

Alma audits for the certification body MPS-ECAS as well, concerning the label CDG. In the past she also audited for the MPS-Florimark Production scheme (existing of the following modular certificates: MPS-GAP, MPS-Quality/MPS-Qualitree and MPS-SQ. All of these standards have intersections with CSR (corporate social responsibility).
Alma is active both within the Netherlands and abroad. She works as a consultant and trainer in projects in Finland, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia and Kenya. Alma is the project coordinator for two EP-Nuffic capacity projects, in Ethiopia and Kenya.
