Project desription
In 2013, Q-Point started the project “Capacity Development of Agarfa A-TVET College on small scale and micro-irrigation for Agarfa A-TVET College” (NICHE/ETH/178)”.The project aims to develop the college in such a way that the graduates are able to provide up-to-date technical and organizational advice to villages concerning the design, construction, operations, management and repair of small-scale irrigation schemes and micro-irrigation (SSI/MI).

So far the project has facilitated BSc and MSc trainings, practical skill enhancement in the academic staff regarding irrigation, a labor market need assessment (LMNA) to strengthen service delivery, management training, a gender need assessment and gender policy development.
